Spring Awakening! The Blooming Within

The song of Spring is playing within my soul and rippling out to the soft peace of my breath. I am taking more conscious, sacred pauses throughout the day to absorb the essence of spring all around! It’s in the song of the birds, the rise of the sun and the light-green spark of life on the trees. It’s in the blooming of the flowers and the buzzing of the bees. I feel so much joy just writing about this beautiful emergence.

I cherish spring, so deeply. It sparks within me my child-like essence of play, wonder and limitless potentiality. It is a reminder that when we move through the darkest depths of our souls, it is simply an initiation to our fullest bloom. Life is so wonderful and wise. It is beyond what our human consciousness can comprehend. And why try to understand it all? Part of the mystery of life, the unknown, is what creates the magic. I believe magic is essential for my soul nourishment- a sense of awe and wonderment with the world and a constant humbling by it’s immense beauty and powerful rhythms.

This winter was dark. But not in a frightening or sad way. I realized that it is possible to move through the darkest depth, but still be connected to God. I felt a deep sense of trust in every moment that I am guided and held. I realized that I used to “punish” myself by thinking that if life wasn’t going “good” that I was out of alignment with Great Spirit. But this is not so. Divine Mother is always holding us and loving us even if we think we are unworthy of this love. We are active participants in our life and just because life get’s challenging does not mean we are disconnected from our Higher Self. We are even more guided during those challenging times! God is ever closer and nearer, whispering to us, helping us see and uplifting our energy.

We need to walk through certain seasons in our life. It is essential for our growth and understanding of ourselves. I really learned to embrace the darkness this winter and learned so much along the way. I am looking forward to seeing how these lessons open door-ways in my life. Now I am enjoying the spaciousness, clarity and lightness that the emergence of Spring is bringing. It feels like a fresh new breeze has appeared and shifted all old energies from my body. I am open and embracing.

This is my first spring in Indiana, we started to see buds on the fruit trees a couple weeks into March! February was a cold month but the promise of warmth is here. I feel the promise of creative flow also erupting within me. There is so much I want to create this year. I love the beginning of the year because I feel that I have this blank canvas to paint upon! Then when Spring arrives I am renewed with vitality to add more color and texture to my painting of life.

We are here to play and create. What a joy! I believe that residing in our Joy is one of the most radical acts we can do to help shift the world into a better place. How can we pray for peace, joy, love and unity for the world if we do not feel that first within ourself? It is my joy to support others on the path of liberation and live their Joy through rediscovering their Authentic Self. I am always a student on this journey as well and know that one of the most important practices in cultivating one’s true Joy is whole-being nourishment. We must take care of ourselves so that we can be in harmony with our intuition and be guided by our Higher Self.

This morning I laid out some yoga mats, checked my chakras, balanced them with Reiki, set intentions and worked with crystals. I haven’t taken time to nourish myself in this way in SO long, yet I know it is essential for my self harmonization. I serve so many through these forms of healing and I need to remember to hold space for myself.

It is easy to make excuses and or believe that self-nourishment is selfish or unnecessary, but caring for yourself means tending to the whole world. We are all connected, if we learn to really tend to our soul and body we can then better show up for the world and be of service.

After we learn to harmonize with our rhythms and nourish our whole being, we can truly be of Authentic Service to the world. When we are in a place of service we feel a sense of purpose and fulfillment and this is the foundation of what life is. Life moves because of a Divine Spark of purpose. We are all apart of this spark and we will only feel truly fulfilled if we truly serve in the way that is in alignment with our highest good. How each individual serves will be unique to them. Such is the play of life!

I hope you are enjoying the emergence of Spring, the shift in seasons or the ever-changing tides of life. So much love & many blessings<3
